Every year Open Mosque Day offers the opportunity for people of all backgrounds and faiths to come together, foster mutual understanding and celebrate diversity. This event aims to promote interfaith dialogue, cultural exchange, and unity within our community.

12:00 PM- Interfaith Panel

  • Topic: What Does It Mean To Truly Build Spaces Of Belonging?
    • Panelist: Sister Hedab Tarifi, Rev. Dr. Lo Sprague, Niringan Khalsa, Sister Andrea Hodos 

1:00 PM- Dhuhr Prayer

1:15 PM- Introduction to Islam

  • Speaker: Sheikh Asim Buyuksoy
    • Location: Prayer Hall

1:45 PM- Tour of the Islamic Center

Note: Refreshments will be available for all attendees. We will also have an information table with brochures about Islam, the center’s programs and services, in addition to some take-home booklets of selected verses from the Qur’an.
