Last Saturday, the lives of 11 of our Jewish brothers and sisters were taken in a sheer act of domestic terrorism. Our Jewish friends and allies have stood with us time and again in tragedy and heartache. Let’s come together on Friday to unify and rise above tragedy, and to share love, friendship, and support for our Jewish friends and neighbors.

Be sure to arrive early. Street parking is limited.
We’ll gather at the front entrance of Wilshire Boulevard Temple before this week’s Shabbat prayer services to show our support in numbers and stand in pursuit of justice for this heinous crime against our human family. Out of respect for the congregation, the Temple requests that attendees please do not bring any signs, candles or flowers.
“O ye who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you swerve, and if you distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do.” [Quran 4:135]
