This past Sunday, over 120 community members from ICSC and First United Methodist Church got together for the third year to Rise Against Hunger. In addition, this year we were joined by the Pasadena First Congregational Church for the first time. The room was packed with people of all ages working together to package 24,000 meals for people in need around the world. Each package required multiple people to complete, highlighting the importance of teamwork and how we need community involvement and everyone’s help to solve problems. Through this wonderful community building and service event over the last 3 years, the ICSC has helped package and send over 60,000 meals to people around the world.
